Jake Paul has lashed out at UFC boss Dana White for failing to adequately pay fighters what they are worth.

The YouTube boxer will return to the ring on August 28 against former welterweight world champion Tyron Woodley in just his fourth pro bout.

Having knocked out AnEson Gib in his debut, Paul then stopped Nate Robinson and Ben Askren to continue his unbeaten record.

Although Woodley has never boxed before, he carries tremendous power in his hands and has worked alongside Freddie Roach at the famous Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California since 2009.

‘The Chosen One’ admitted the bout against the social media star would generate his biggest purse to date, despite winning a world title in the UFC and defending it on four occasions after that.

Fighter pay is an issue often mentioned by UFC stars past and present, with Paige VanZant infamously admitting she made from Instagram than fighting in the Octagon and with Jon Jones choosing to wait on the sidelines than accept less than what he feels he deserves to challenge heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.

During the pre-fight media scrum in Miami, Paul once again attacked White for what he describes as an inability to pay fighters what they are worth as he continues to rake in millions of dollars from boxing.

“There’s a movement, moving forward that is going to show that fighters should be getting paid more,” Paul said in a video uploaded by former UFC fighter Jimi Manuwa.

“It’s unfair. The UFC fighters don’t have fair pay. Out of all the sports, the percentage that the owners get versus the athlete, they’re the lowest.

“Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones; that fight should happen. Dana White, pay them the $10 million. He’s taking their money. They’re the ones making the content.

“They’re the ones getting in the ring, risking their life.”

“Chris Weidman goes in, snaps his leg in half,” Paul added. “What’s that look like?

“He might never be able to fight again and provide food for his family. These fighters are risking their lives.

“You can quite literally die in the ring and they need to be compensated more. I’m a big proponent of that movement and being in control.

“It’s just like music labels, same thing. These artists are getting owned and they get locked up into these s***** contracts and they don’t know what to do.

“So f*** that s***. F*** Dana White.”
