YouTube star KSI believes long-term rival Jake Paul will ‘absolutely destroy’ Tyron Woodley when they meet later this month in a boxing ring.
Woodley, a former UFC champion, has never boxed professionally and makes his professional bow on August 29 at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Paul’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
The bout was brought about after Paul knocked out Ben Askren in April, coming through the fight unscathed despite an altercation with Woodley in the dressing room beforehand.
‘The Chosen One’ is friends with Askren and was in the vicinity to oversee Paul getting his hands wrapped, yet clashed with the YouTube star and his team and a fight was duly signed shortly after.
Despite having fought professionally just three times, the 24-year-old has grand designs for his boxing career and wants to fight some of the biggest names in the world, including Conor McGregor and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.
Another name on his eight-man hit list was YouTube rival KSI, who offered a very bold prediction when speaking to YouTuber HarveyMSc.
“Jake Paul’s going to win,” KSI said.
“He’s going to absolutely destroy – absolutely destroy Tyron Woodley.
“I haven’t wanted him to win for years and he keeps winning.
“So, at this point, it’s like, ‘Do your thing. Yeah. Do your thing. You’re in your element. You’re in your moment’.”
