Tyron Woodley has warned Colby Covington he is willing to hurt him illegally when the pair finally next weekend.
The welterweight clash headlines UFC Vegas 11 and is years in the making, with the two men first linked to one another when Woodley was champion in 2018.
Both men accused the other of rejecting the chance to make the fight, but the talking finally stops on September 19 at the UFC Apex.
However, ‘The Chosen One’ has taken the trash talking to the next level, by suggesting he will strike Covington in the groin if needs be.
“I agree with you, I will let my hands go,” Woodley said on an Instagram Live. “You guys and you fans telling me ‘let your hands go, let your hands go,’
“I need to let them go. You have that, you have my word I will let these hands go.
“I’ll let them go upside his head, body. I might even punch in the sack for the warning, bap. I will take the warning or even the point deduction, I feel good guys.”
The former 170lbs champion is on a two-fight skid and has failed to win a single round in defeats to Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns.
‘Chaos’ could be the worst type of opponent for the 39-year-old, with his heavy grinding style and wrestling background working perfectly in sync with his insane cardio.
